This is a big book, step study meeting, focusing on the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, which “encourages us to embrace imperfection, impermanence and simplicity. It reminds us that all things in life are temporary, and it highlights the beauty to be discovered in that which is transient, natural and flawed.”  All those with a desire to stop drinking are welcome to attend.

Horizons partners with Green Farms Academy to help underserved Bridgeport students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade improve their educational outcomes by providing academic instruction, enrichment experiences, mentoring, and educational guidance in a nurturing community of dedicated professionals. Each year, SCC supplies backpacks to support this program.
